Cross examine the presenters of proposals.  Think of how an attorney questions a witness:  How sure are you of this?  Where did the evidence come from?  What would happen if we don't pursue this?  What is the upside and the downside of the proposal?

So What?
This allows you and others to test the soundness of a proposal by judging the quality of evidence, reasoning and projections.  Also, by verbally justifying their proposal, it helps the presenters bolster their defense.

Most organizations fail to optimize their communication system. In fact, only 50% of all organizational decisions ever get fully implemented and only 26% of business executives believe that their company's business strategy is "well communicated and understood". Metacomm develops and implements communication strategies, conducts communication assessments and provides communication training and coaching. In particular, Metacomm seeks to answer questions like the following:

Are executive messages properly aligned with the organization's strategic direction?
Do employees effectively share knowledge with one another?
Does the organization's technology facilitate the communication process?
Do executives acknowledge and respond to employee concerns?
Do employees understand and support the decision-making practices of the organization?
